Why are vehicle owners choosing us?
The ENCORE Paint Protection Film Difference

Lets take a look at some of what sets ENCORE PPF installations apart from the competition.

Bath time!
This ensures that the car is as clean as possible and helps reduce contaminants. Contaminants like to hide in crevices in the bumper, around the headlights and in seams between body panels.

We clay bar the vehicle.
Clay barring the paint on your car grabs and removes harsh contaminants that are stuck to the paint. This includes road tar, over spray, tree droppings, bugs and debris that landed on the paint during shipping. Doing this step improves the car’s shine and also smooths out the surface for a glassy feel.

Customize patterns in the computer.
The patterns designed by CORE are fantastic but we like to customize things a bit. Lets say your bumper has a “tow hook cover” or your fender has a gas door in the pattern. We delete or adjust those in the software and then cut that area by hand once installed. This way we can wrap the pattern into that area and this helps hide the edge of the paint protection film.

We wrap and tuck edges.
We make it a point to wrap every edge possible. Wrapping edges give your paint complete protection. It also helps hide the line from the edge of the material. Most of the time this puts the edge in an area you can’t easily see (like wrapping the film to the under side of the hood).

Bulking.
Bulking = A pattern custom made by hand from raw material (not cut by the computer). Most hoods we install are done by hand without using a pattern from the computer. We also bulk a lot of side view mirrors. Maybe I want do the mirror in one piece or give more coverage on the mirror than the computer pattern offers, then it’s time to bulk!

Removing badges.
Whenever possible we remove emblems, badges, lettering and hood scoops. We can hide the edge of the material under the emblem for a super clean finished look. Badges and lettering can be reapplied to the material after the PPF installation is complete.

Amazing Products and Patterns!
We are a SunTek dealer. We use their “Ultra” paint protection film. We also use their patterns and computer cutting software “CORE”. This is one of the clearest films on the market and offers a 10 year warranty. That’s how confident they are in thier product! This is a self healing film. You also wont find sofware with better patterns, We’ve looked.

No edge left behind.
We go over EVERY edge of the installed film with a heat gun and glove. Sound tedious? It is, but it’s a very important step. This helps the edge of the film seal to the paint. No one wants edges popping up over time and getting full of dirt!
Cutting PPF on the paint.
Or on my skin!? It’s a demonstration I’ve done more than once. Not normally on my arm but I do cut on a hood in our showroom, just ask. That’s how confident I am that I’m not going to cut through the material into your paint. Every job requires a little trimming on the paint, Especially when you are bulking patterns from scratch.

It’s important to be comfortable with the installer and know the quality of their finished work. All paint protection film materials are not created equal. You are installing paint protection film to protect the paint. Cheap products and bad installations can do more damage than good. Also be sure that you are choosing coverage for the parts of the vehicle you want protected. Besides the normal difficulties installing Paint Protection Film, almost all installations will require some cutting of the film on the car. Trimming the film on the car is a very delicate job and takes a skilled hand. A little bit too much pressure and someone can cut into the paint. Cuts in the paint are normally never found or noticed until the film is removed or replaced. This is an area that all of our years of experience comes in handy! You can take comfort in knowing that your car is in good hands when you leave it with us.
